How It Works
What is H Memorials?
H Memorials is a memorial poster design and printing service. We provide professionally designed templates that you can customize with your loved one's photo, name, dates, and a meaningful quote. Each poster is printed on high-quality materials and shipped to you.
How does the design process work?
Our step-by-step wizard guides you through the entire process:
- Choose a template from our gallery
- Upload a photo of your loved one
- Enter their name and dates
- Add a quote, verse, or message
- Review your design and add it to your cart
You'll see a live preview throughout the process so you know exactly what your poster will look like.
What is the "Design It For Me" service?
If you'd prefer our team to create the poster for you, we offer a “Design It For Me” service. You provide the photo, details, and any special instructions, and our designers create the poster for you. You'll review and approve the design before it goes to print.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Guest checkout is fully supported — you can place an order without creating an account. If you choose to create one (via a quick magic link to your email), you'll be able to save designs, view order history, and manage your information.
Can I save my design and come back later?
Yes, if you have an account. Simply sign in and use the “Save Design” button on the review step. You can access your saved designs from your account dashboard anytime.

We offer three materials, each suited for different uses:

What kind of photo should I use?
For the best results, we recommend:
- A clear, well-lit photo where the face is visible
- The highest resolution available (phone photos work great)
- JPG or PNG format
- A photo that captures the personality of your loved one — it doesn't have to be a formal portrait
Our editor includes a crop tool, so you can adjust the framing after uploading.
Can I see a preview before I order?
Yes. Our design editor shows a live preview as you customize your poster. On the review step, you'll see exactly what the final print will look like before adding it to your cart.
Ordering & Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through Stripe, our secure payment processor.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. Your payment card information is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers. Stripe is PCI Level 1 certified — the highest level of security in the payment industry. All transactions are encrypted with TLS.
Can I order as a guest without an account?
Absolutely. Guest checkout is always available. You don't need to create an account to place an order. After your purchase, you'll have the option to create an account if you'd like to save your design for future orders.
Can I order multiple posters?
Yes. You can add multiple posters to your cart — different templates, sizes, or materials. Each poster is customized individually.
Do you offer rush orders?
Yes. We understand that timing is often critical. Rush delivery options are available during checkout with transparent pricing. If you need a poster by a specific date, contact us and we'll do everything we can to make it happen.
Design & Customization
What can I customize on my poster?
Each template allows you to personalize:
- Photo — upload and crop your own image
- Name — your loved one's full name
- Dates — birth and passing dates, formatted as you prefer
- Quote or verse — a meaningful message, poem, or scripture
Our advanced editor also allows adjustments to text positioning, fonts, and colors if you want more control.
What photo formats do you accept?
We accept JPG and PNG images. For best print quality, use the highest resolution photo available. Most smartphone photos provide sufficient resolution for all our sizes.
What if I need help with my design?
You have two options: use our step-by-step wizard that guides you through each customization, or choose our “Design It For Me” service where our team creates the poster for you. You can also contact us at any point if you get stuck.
Can I make changes after I place my order?
Yes, if printing hasn't started yet. Contact us as soon as possible and we'll make the changes at no extra charge. Once printing begins, modifications may not be possible, but we'll always work with you to find the best solution.
Shipping & Delivery
How long does shipping take?
Standard shipping typically takes 5–7 business days after printing is complete. Rush options are available for faster delivery. You'll see estimated delivery dates during checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the United States only. We're working on expanding to additional countries in the future.
How will my poster be packaged?
Every poster is carefully packaged to prevent damage during shipping. Poster prints ship in rigid mailer tubes. Canvas prints ship in corner-protected boxes. Foam board signs ship flat in reinforced packaging.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking email with a tracking number and link. You can also check your order status from your account dashboard if you have one.
What if I need my poster by a specific date?
We understand that memorial services have fixed dates. If you need your poster by a specific date, select a rush delivery option during checkout or contact us with your deadline. Rush orders come with a delivery guarantee — if we miss the date, you receive a full refund.
Quality & Returns
What if there's a problem with my poster?
If your poster arrives with any quality issue — color problems, print defects, or shipping damage — we'll send a corrected replacement at no cost, no questions asked. Simply email us a photo of the issue. Read our full refund and replacement policy.
What is your refund policy?
In short: if there's a problem, we fix it.
- Full refund if you cancel before printing begins
- Full refund for quality defects or wrong items
- Full refund if your order doesn't arrive on time

Do I need to return the poster for a refund?
No. We never ask you to ship a memorial poster back. The poster is yours to keep regardless of the outcome. We absorb all costs.
What if the colors don't look right?
Minor color variations between screens and prints are normal due to differences in display technology. However, if the colors are noticeably wrong or don't match what you saw in the preview, that's a quality issue and we'll replace it for free.
How do I report a quality issue?
Email us at support@hmemorials.com or use our contact form. Include a photo of the issue if possible (it helps us improve, but isn't required). We respond within 24 hours and ship replacements within 2 business days.
